The staff and leadership here at Mountain View Baptist Church is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church. Charles Cutrera - Senior Pastor

Charles graduated with a BA in Computer Science from Indiana University. After several years working in the business sector with multiple companies, he completed a Master of Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2011.

Charles came to Mountain View as Youth Pastor in 2013, then later transitioned into the role of Associate Pastor. He became Senior Pastor in Fall 2021.

Charles loves bringing expository preaching to the church. He believes the church grows strong when the Word of God is taught with an emphasis on specific application to our daily lives.

Charles and his wife (who is amazing) have three children (who are a blast). In his free time Charles enjoys hiking the mountains and trails of Utah, visiting National Parks, reading (especially military history), whitewater rafting, and playing violin.

Ron Jones- Discipleship Pastor

Ron Jones has recently come to our pastoral staff after retiring from the International Mission Board, serving 27 years in various countries. Prior to serving with the IMB he was a pastor in Florida and the Caribbean for 14 years. He is passionate about seeing followers of Jesus grow in their relationship with Him. He has a MDiv. from Luther Rice Seminary and a DMin. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his wife, Lisa, live in North Ogden and have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. He enjoys kayaking, fishing, and hiking, as well as, just about any outdoor activity.

Melissa Ferree - Office Manager

Melissa was raised in Northern Utah and currently resides in Roy with her husband Ken, two beautiful daughters, and her dogs Darius and Layla. Between Melissa and Ken, they are parents to five children and grandparents to the world’s most endearing grandson.

Ken and Melissa married in 2015, and through a coworker who attended Mountain View, Melissa came to know the Lord in 2018. Shortly after, her family began attending church with Melissa. Ken yielded himself to Christ in 2020. Life in Christ has been an amazing adventure.

Melissa has always had a passion for helping people. Working at Mountain View has become a beautiful way of connecting that God given passion to her daily work through serving the Body of Christ at MVBC.

In Melissa’s downtime, she enjoys crocheting, baking, camping, fishing, or sharing a good meal with friends.

Kaylee Stong - Secretary

When Kaylee was younger, she participated in the AWANA and Youth programs at our church. In the summer of 2017, while attending youth camp, she came to know Christ. Although Kaylee had been coming to church for a long time, it was at youth camp that she fully accepted Him. After camp, she developed a strong desire to know God and made it a priority to read her Bible daily.

Kaylee has been a member of Mountain View for seven years. During her time here, she has discovered her passion for working with the Children’s Ministries. Most of the time, you can find her at the children’s desk, assisting with AWANA, VBS, and various other events. She is always willing to help, and her role in the office ministry has allowed her to contribute in many different areas.

When Kaylee isn’t at the office, she works as a licensed nail technician. She has a genuine passion for nail art and loves her craft. In her free time, Kaylee enjoys line dancing and swing dancing, playing her violin, and spending time with her puppies.
