Sunday Bible Study

Join us for Sunday Morning Bible Study from 9am-10 am.

Our class sessions are in a 10 week rotation with a variety of teachers/topics to choose from each session.

The current session runs from September 20th - November 22nd.

Agape ~ Room 201

Leader: Mickey Porter

This class is comprised primarily, but not limited to, senior adults. The class uses the “Explore the Bible” series from the Southern Baptist Convention (Lifeway) as a guide to studying the books of the Bible. Group discussion is an important part of the learning process and, as always, there will be prayer time and fellowship.

Theology and Life: End Times ~ Room 202

Leader: Pastor Ron

There are many different ideas about what is going to happen in the future. Dystopia novels and movies are very popular. As followers of Christ we have a unique view. We will be looking at what Jesus told us about the future and how it relates to other portions of the Bible.

Romans ~ Room 205

Leader: Rick Shelton

What is the gospel? God's demand is righteousness, and mankind is left wanting because right standing before God is not obtainable through human achievement. There is only one answer to this question: "But the righteous shall live by faith." (Hab. 2:4). This is the theme of the book of Romans. Join our study of Romans as we discover how Paul defines the gospel in fine detail through the divine accomplishment of God. Then we can answer with confidence; what is the gospel?

When Words Matter Most: Women's Bible Study ~ Room 204
